Cal-IPC Symposium

Join us online for our 2026 Symposium! Our theme this year is “Think Globally, Weed Locally!” with special sessions on ways that our local work connects to the global challenge of invasive species. In addition to presentations covering the latest in invasive plant management and research, we are planning special sessions to cover:

  • Biological control of weeds
  • The cost of not managing invasive plants
  • Local management and engagement actions that work
  • Global movement of aquatic and wetland weeds
  • Management strategies for habitats with ubiquitous weeds
  • Tools and techniques for weed management
  • Geospatial technologies and approaches
  • Protecting biodiversity through weed management
  • Preventing horticultural invasives
  • And more!
