Techniques for Controlling Woody Plants

Ken Moore demonstrates techniques that are useful for general woody plant removal and re-sprout control. As an example, he is shown working on invasive acacia in Santa Cruz County, California.

Prior to the 2009 Cal-IPC Symposium in Visalia, Cal-IPC hosted a Wildland Weed Field Course titled Herbicide Control Methods.

Cal-IPC partnered with the National Park Service’s California Exotic Plant Management Team and Pacific Coast Science and Learning Center to produce educational videos related to wildland weed control. Our goals are to meet training needs expressed by our members and to make this training more broadly available by hosting it on our website.
