2010 Symposium Registration

Register for the 2010 Symposium!


Registration includes the Thursday banquet, breakfast Thursday and Friday, Thursday lunch, a free drink ticket for the Thursday social hour, and 2011 Cal-IPC membership!


Registration Rates

  • Regular: $285 by Sep. 21; $310 after Sep. 21. Registration closes Oct. 7, after that on-site registration costs $335
  • Students: $100 by Sep. 21; $125 after Sep. 21. (Please send proof of student status.)
  • Presenters: $20 discount (one person per talk or poster)
  • Symposium volunteers: $185 by Sep. 21 only. Symposium volunteers receive discounted registration in exchange for helping with registration, sales, the raffle, and other tasks at the symposium. (Register early as we usually fill this positions quickly.)
  • Restoration volunteers NEW: $185 by Sep. 21 only (This new registration option has been created to support restoration volunteers who do not have weed management as part of their professional work. Please list the organization that you volunteer with.)
  • Field trips: $35 (half day), $50 (full day), $95 (full day trip to Santa Cruz Island), and $135 (overnight to Santa Cruz Island)


How to Register

  • Online: We encourage online registration for streamlined processing. If you have been a Cal-IPC member within the past several years, you have a password for our online system. Your password appears in Symposium announcement emails. Feel free to email info@cal-ipc.org for this information.
  • Mail or fax: Fill out and print the PDF registration form with interactive fields. Please print a copy for your records. This form may be faxed to Cal-IPC at (510) 217-3500 or mailed to 1442-A Walnut St., #462, Berkeley, CA 94709. This form will be available by June 18, 2010.
  • Register at the symposium: We will be accepting registrations at the door, however there will be an additional fee of $25 added to registration rates.

    Payment Options

    • You may pay by check, credit card, or by requesting an invoice. Make checks payable to "Cal-IPC" and mail to Cal-IPC, Attn: Symposium, 1442-A Walnut St. #462, Berkeley, CA 94709. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.
    • If you choose to register online, please chose your payment option at the end of the registration process. You may enter your credit card online, send a check, call us with a credit card number or request an invoice ("bill user" option)
