Assessing economic costs of invasive plants in California


When advocating for the importance of invasive plant programs, it is essential to characterize the impact of invasive plants in financial terms. How much is spent on invasive plants in California each year? To find out, Cal-IPC is collecting information on the amount spent on invasive plant work by organizations throughout the state. We are getting information on state and federal agency programs directly, but for regional and local information, we are asking organizations to fill out a brief survey.
