Weed Mapping Roundtable
In June 2006, Cal-IPC organized a Weed Mapping Roundtable at the University of California-Davis. This one day meeting brought together public agencies and private organizations that use GIS databases to track invasive plants in California. The goal of the meeting was to share each organization's current system and to discuss the first steps for developing a Weed Mapping Portal that can serve as a repository of data in California and allow submission of new information on invasive plants.
